Description

WW2 1907 Indian made bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is a rare example with its full length blade still in place. The bayonet is maker marked R.F.I Rifle Factory Ishapore. It s marked with the bend test mark and issued March 1940 with the kings crown and 1907 showing.

The Bayonet shows age related wear and colour the blade has had the tip re-worked with a clean blade. The leather scabbard is in good used condition and has a 1908 ptn webbing frog in place with some markings showing.

A rare example to find with the full length blade as most were shortened to twelve inches during WW2.
