• British military pocket watch c 1900 in very good working condition. The watch has a retail mark for Thomas Russell & Sons with the watch named as the silvernus, the dial of the watch clearly shows this with the dial in very good condition for its age.The movement is a 15 jewel movement which again is clearly marked to Thomas Russell of Liverpool and is Swiss made, the front and back covers are screw fit with the back cover having the war department arrow showing. The pocket watch retains its original blue steel hands and glass, around the turn of the century 1900 the British admiralty conducted trials for the suitability of watches for the Royal navy as marine timekeepers which I believe this to be a very good example off. The watch has been serviced and keeps excellent time for a watch of its age, please see the photographs for further detail.
