Description
1901 Naval ptn leather ammunition bag in good used condition. The ammunition carrier or bag shows age related wear and tear with the leather in good condition and all its stitching, rivets, shoulder strap loop in place with no faults. The bag can be extended to carry more ammunition with this part of the bag folded back on itself and is kept in position by a securing strap, the leather bag is maker marked for Hepburn Gale and Ross Ltd with the date 1903 just below on the inside of the bag there are some numbers stamped 238 but no other detail showing. The leather ammunition bag is gusseted so it can expand if the folded part of the bag is used enabling larger quantities of ammunition to be carried.
