Description
George V Royal artillery officers sword and leather scabbard in very good used condition. It is maker marked for Watson and Gillott of Sheffield.
The blade of the sword is just under 35 inches with its acid etchings in excellent condition. The blade both sides is bright with its leather buffer pad in place and in very good condition, it would be hard to find better.
The nickel finish on the pommel and guard are as found with a good age toned colour to the finish.
It has all the wire bindings to the shark skin grip with no faults.
The leather scabbard has good age related colour to the finish with a few small marks showing.
