Description
WW1 1907 bayonet and scabbard Canadian issued in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Wilkinson with the Kings crown and marked 1907 the bayonet was issued for October 1917 the bayonet has the bend test mark and various inspection marks that have been photographed with the war department arrow the markings are a little faint but can be seen the bayonet is also marked on the pommel with the Canadian war department arrow. The bayonet has its wooden grips in place with the pommel and cross guard still with a good percentage of the blued finish intact, the blade of the bayonet has most of its factory finish intact with very good age related colour. The scabbard is the post 1915 round frog fitting with the metal fittings retaining their blued finish and both metal fittings are tight to the leather scabbard which is supple and has all its stitching in place.
