Description
WW1 1907 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Wilkinson with the Kings crown and marked 1907 it was issued for November 1917. The bayonet has the bend test mark with various inspection marks that have been photographed.
With the war department arrow showing it was re-issued in 1924.
The bayonet has its wooden grips in place with the pommel and cross guard showing good age related colour showing. The blade of the bayonet has excellent age related colour with the factory finish showing in places it is in good condition.
It has a tear drop frog fitting to the scabbard with the metal fittings showing age related colour and both metal fittings are tight to the leather scabbard which is supple and has all its stitching in place.
