Description
WW1 British made steel helmet with American 7th infantry division insignia in good used condition. The steel helmet retains its textured finish with its original brodie liner and leather chin strap in place. The textured finish to the steel helmet is in good used condition retaining most of its original finish and painted in olive green with the American 7th infantry division insignia on the side.
The original liner retains all its parts with the leather chin strap in place the felt pad is in place and it has the brodie red ink stamp on the inside of the liner. The liner is fragile and shows age related wear and signs of use it needs to be handled with care.
The steel shell has a metal suppliers code of BS 98 which is W Beardmore & Co Ltd of Glasgow the 98 is the sheet metal code this has been photographed.
