Description
WW1 Solid silver capstan inkwell in good used condition. It has an inscription to Mr Hobson in remembrance of the convalescence of Paul Brasseur Belgian officer.
It does show age related wear with some dings to the silver caused through use and age. The glass liner is not the original liner.
The inkwell has hallmarks for Birmingham 1914/15 with a maker mark of E.S.B.
It weights 504 grams without the glass liner and is 14.7 cm round on the base and 8 cm high. The base is wooden.
