Description
WW2 Australian Owen’s MK 1 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is good used condition it is marked O A with the war department arrow and the bend test mark, the otherside is marked MA 1907 1 with a issue date of April 1945, the bayonet retains a good percentage of its blued finish with age related wear showing in places, the blade is the same with most of the blueing in place but some age related wear to the tip of the bayonet. The wooden grips are not marked , the leather scabbard is marked for Mangrovite and dated 1944 the top and bottom metal mounts are marked O A with the leather scabbard in good condition and retaining its original finish as are the metal mounts.
