Description

WW2 German postcard in good used condition. The postcard has ink postage mark of Munchen 6th August 1944.

The postcard shows the temple of honor eternal guard at Konigl Munich built in 1935 by the Nazis. To honor the 16 members of the Nazi party who were killed during the failed beer hall putsch in 1923.

These individuals were considered martyrs by the Nazi regime. The US army destroyed the temples after the war ended.
