Description
WW2 Group of Civil defence and A.R.P documents in used condition. The eight sheets of paper have details both sides and date from 3rd September 1939 when war was declared up until the 19th January 1940.
The details are a diary of communications with the central controller with the local areas around Maidstone such as Headcorn , Hollingbourne and Boxley all mentioned in the messages. The messages are in relation to available ambulances for the area and air raid sirens with a colour coding system and first aid party vehicles.
The paperwork is in fair condition with some sheets having a slight tear in places but still complete. The documents have some interesting local historical details showing with a determined message for the 25th December to the enemy.
