Description

WW2 Homeguard battledress tunic in good used condition. The battledress tunic is maker marked for  The Rego clothiers limited with the date 1939.

It has war department ink stamp with a date letter Q for 1940 when it was issued originally with a one year service stripe stitched on the lower right arm.

The battledress tunic has all its buttons in place with the waist buckle. It does have one small hole which cannot be seen when the tunic buttons are done up.

It has the Homeguard shoulder titles in place with the 102nd battalion West Lancashire insignia in place. The 2nd pattern anti-aircraft command formation patches are woven examples.

The West Lancashire 102 battalion were a rocket battery in anti aircraft command home defence.

On the shoulder board is one large kings crown in place showing the tunic to be an officers example of the rank of a major.
