Description
WW2 Homeguard P13 Remington bayonet and scabbard are in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Remington with the date 1913 above the Remington trade mark.
It has the war department arrow and was issued originally in January 1916. It shows age related wear with the pommel and cross guard showing age related colour.
The blade of the bayonet is in good clean original condition with its factory finish still intact and showing some age related colour. The bayonet retains its original wooden grips.
The leather scabbard is in good used condition with the metal fittings tight to the scabbard. It is dated 1918 and marked Jewel.
It has a 39 ptn leather bayonet frog in place it is maker mark Lees (w) Ltd. It is dated 1940 with the war department arrow showing.
