WW1 AUSTRALIAN PRESS PHOTO YPRES RAILWAY CUTTING 1917

  • £32.00

WW1 Australian Press photograph of dead and wounded Australians and Germans in good used condition. The photograph is 215mm wide and 162mm high and shows Australian and German dead and wounded at the railway cutting West-Vlaanderen Broodseinde in the Ypres sector 12th October 1917.The photograph is one of the most shocking to see and shows the western front for all its horror. The photograph was in a album of press photographs stuck into a photograph album, the album was in very poor condition with all the photographs stuck onto the sheets of card within the album. This has resulted in the details normally showing on the back of the photograph not being visible to see but I have been very lucky with a military historian giving me the details of the photograph. The photographs are all to do with the Australian divisions when in France and Belgium and I believe them to be from the year 1917.Please see the photographs for further details, free postage for UK customers.
