WW1 AUSTRALIAN PRESS PHOTO 3RD YPRES STRETCHER BEARERS RESTING

  • £26.00

WW1 Australian Press photograph of stretcher bearers resting in good used condition. The photograph is 205mm wide and 152mm high and shows medical details of the 45th Battalion sheltering in a trench at Anzac Ridge, Ypres sector. The photograph was in a album of press photographs stuck into a photograph album, the album was in very poor condition with all the photographs stuck onto the sheets of card within the album. This has resulted in the details normally showing on the back of the photograph not being visible to see but I have been very lucky with a military historian giving me the details of the photograph. The photographs are all to do with the Australian divisions when in France and Belgium and I believe them to be from the year 1917,1918.Please see the photographs for further details, free postage for UK customers.
