WW2 Duke of Cornwall light infantry regiment officers cap in good used condition. The officers cap shows age related wear due to use and it is an early example from the interwar period or the early war years, the cap has its officers bronze badge in place with its red felt backing and a very nice age toned leather chin strap which can be seen in the photographs. The cap has a quilted lining which does not show any retailers mark but the quilted lining is a good indicator for its age, the leather sweat band is in place but some of the stitching has come away in a few places this is purely done to age related wear. The outside cloth of the cap is in good condition with just a few small moth nips showing it has its bronzed general service buttons holding the chin strap in place which show good detail, a nice example of British officers service dress cap showing age and use. Please see the photographs for further details.
