Description
WW2 44 ptn Jungle webbing haversack dated 1945 in good used condition.The haversack is marked for D & M with the war department arrow and the AF coding which was only used up to 1945 and then changed to AA,the webbing haversack is date 1945 but has been smudged which gives it a 46 appearance which is not possible due to the AF coding this can be seen in the photographs.The haversack shows age related wear and tear but have no faults it also has both shoulder straps in place one which is AF coded with a maker of M.E.Co with the date 1945 and the war department arrow and the other with a maker of B.H.G Ltd and a date that could be 1946 or 45 again it is not clear to see.A rare item to find in such complete condition,please see the photographs for further detail.
