Description
German short parade bayonet with its brown leather frog and portepee in good used condition. The bayonet has a makers mark for E Pack & Son Solingen and comes with stag horn grips with the blade and the cross guard, pommel all retaining there nickle plated finish which is in very good condition. The bayonet is in very good condition and this can be seen in the photographs with the button on the pommel in working condition and the green pad still in place in the slot, the bayonet retains its original scabbard with its painted finish mostly intact it does show some paint loss and age colour caused through age and use. The bayonet and scabbard also have its portepee in place which shows age related wear with its brown leather parade frog also still in place which is very rare to find. The brown leather frog shows age related wear but is complete with all its stitching still intact and showing a good age related colour to the leather finish.Please see the photographs for further details.
