Description
WW2 German K98 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked asw E.u.F Horster and is dated 1943, it is in very good condition. The blued finish to the blade is in excellent condition.
The pommel and cross guard show minor age related wear with most of the blued finish still in place. The pommel is marked with the military issue mark and the button is in working condition. The brown bakerlite grips are in good condition with no damage.
The scabbard has its blued finish in place with the throat rivet in place as well. It is marked fnj Coppel Gmbh with the date 1942 showing. The scabbard shows some age related wear with the military ark on the ball. Unfortunately the bayonet and scabbard are not matching numbers.
The leather frog is damage free with supple leather, it is not maker marked.
