Description

WW1 British 1907 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for J.A.C John Chapman.

The date of issue is June 1916 it has been re-issued  in 1922 and 1934. The bayonet shows age-related colour to the pommel and cross guard.

It is regimentally marked on the pommel T 4 W 1 LTS 544.

The blade of the bayonet is full length and in good clean condition. It has its bend test mark with the war department arrow and various inspection stamps.

It still has its original wooden grips in place which show signs of use.

The leather scabbard has the round frog stud it is in good condition with the metal fittings top and bottom which are tight.

The leather to the scabbard is in good condition with its stitching intact but showing age related wear.
