Description
WW1 British army field telephone in good used condition. It is maker marked W E M. Co Ltd CII 5428 1917 with the war department arrow showing.
It wooden case is in good condition with a leather handle at the top of the case. The internal parts of the field telephone are in place but un-tested. The wooden case does have one small area of damage.
On the inside of the front opening cover is a paper wiring diagram showing all the details.
The hand set is dated 1917 with maker details showing and the war department arrow.
It does show some age related wear with the leather grip still in good condition.
The field telephone is sold as a display item un-test but with all the parts in place.
