Description
WW1 Imperial German war flag Reichskriegsflagge c1903-19 in good used condition and showing age related wear. The flag is 95cm high and 150cm wide the flag has the Prussian national colour’s of black and white with the eagle of Prussia and the Nordic cross, with the German imperial black-white red tricolour in the upper canton with an Iron Cross. The flag is complete and with no visible ink or maker markings showing, the flag has some stitching which has worn due to age with age related staining to the heavy grade cotton almost hessian type feel to the material which can be seen in the photographs. The colour’s are still sharp for there age with the Prussian eagle and the other sections of the flag showing good detail and colour. The flag does have small holes which are all over the flag caused through age but nothing that you would not expect for a flag of this age.Please see the photographs for further details of this rare to find item.
