Description
WW1 Officers/ N.C.O trench periscope in good used condition. It is maker marked for R.J Beck Ltd and dated 1918 mk1 x No 16157 .
The periscope has 20% of its original paint still in place with a nice age related colour covering the rest of the shaft.
The optics still work fine and give a fairly good clear view when focused. It is a little cloudy and some spotting on the lens due to age.
It is missing a few screws at the top of the shaft which does not affect the item.
The wooden handle is in good condition with only signs of wear and tear. When screwed to the shaft has a nice tight fit.
Please see the photographs for further detail.
