Description
British 1907 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Wilkinson of Pall Mall with the issue date of 1940 above the 1907 and no kings crown.
It has the war department arrow with the bend test mark and inspection stamps and above these marks is the Iraq ownership mark.
The pommel and cross guard have a bright finish with age showing in places.
The full length blade of the bayonet is bright in good clean condition. Showing minor age related wear.
It retains its original wooden grips.
The leather scabbard is in good used condition and comes with a pear shaped frog stud.
The scabbard has supple leather and with its metal fittings tight to the leather and with the fittings showing age related colour.
