Description
Rare Greek issued M1874 Gras bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet has the makers mark of Waffenfabrik Steyr 1885 which is an Austrian factory marked on the top of the blade along with the letter K on the quillion cross guard is the Greek acceptance stamp which has been photographed. The bayonet is complete with a good clean blade and nice aged colour to the other metal and brass fittings on the bayonet. The scabbard is dent free with a serial number of 31620 this is faint and not repeated on the bayonet, the scabbard has good consistent aged colour which matches the bayonet very nicely, a rare example of this type of bayonet please see the photographs for further details.
