Description
Webley .32 automatic pistol leather holster in good used condition. The Webley .32 automatic pistol had many different models made from when it first produced in 1905 with the alterations being internal and not in the size of the pistol.
The holster is a private purchase example with no maker marks it has some written detail showing on the inside of the flap which has been photographed. The leather is supple with its stitching intact and its brass fittings in place the leather finish is good with age related wear showing.
The British army from 1915 used the Webley mk6 .455 as the standard revolver issued to officers before this officers would use a variety of different revolvers and pistols as they where purchased privately by the officer.
The Webley .32 was used in that capacity as a private purchase example which may have suited the officers needs greater than the heavier .455 mk6 example. It was also used as a back up weapon in some cases and was still produced just before the outbreak of WW2.
