Description
WW1 1907 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Sanderson with the issue date of June 1917 below the Kings crown.
It has the war department arrow with the bend test mark and inspection stamps.
The pommel and cross guard retain most of there blued finish with age showing in places.
The full length blade of the bayonet shows age related colour.
It retains its original wooden grips.
The leather scabbard is in good used condition and comes with a round frog stud. The scabbard is a Australian made example dated 1944 on the metal work.
The scabbard has supple leather and with its metal fittings tight to the leather and with the fittings still retaining some of there blued finish.
