Description
WW1 British issued P13 Remington bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Remington with the date 1913 above.
It was issued in March 1917 with the Remington mark just below. The bayonet shows some age-related colour but retains a good percentage of its blued finish.
The blade of the bayonet is in very good clean condition with minor related colour showing. The blade has original factory finish still showing. It still has its original wooden grips in place. The bayonet has the war department arrow with inspection mark.
The leather scabbard is a tear drop type in good condition with the metal fittings top and bottom which are tight and marked RE for Remington with the blued finish showing. The dark brown leather to the scabbard is in good condition with its stitching intact.
