Description
WW1 British military stopwatch in good working condition. The stopwatch is in good working condition with a clean movement, the stopwatch works without any issues and resets when required by pressing the top button. The movement is clean and marked with serial numbers which have been photographed, the hairspring can be seen in the photographs and it does sit on top of the movement which is not right but the stopwatch works as it should so I have left it alone. The case of the stopwatch has good age related colour to it and has the following markings on the back war department arrow S Smith & Sons T.P No 114 1918, the back has tight hinges and they snap back into position when pressed. The dial of the stopwatch is a porcelain dial which does have some age related fractures these can be seen in the photographs, the dial is also marked for S Smith and Sons Ltd Trafalgar square London W.C No 249-A187.WW1 stopwatches are rare to find and this is a good example with all the correct military marks in place, please see the photographs for further detail.
