Description
WW1 German M16 camouflage steel helmet in semi relic condition. The steel helmet has a replacement leather liner. The steel helmet retains its camouflage hand painted finish which shows age related wear and signs of use.
The size markings and makers mark are not visible nor is the batch number on the back of the steel helmet. The helmet is new to the market having been in a collection for many years. The steel helmet was originally purchased in France in the 1990s.
The rivets holding the replacement liner in place are original rivets but may not be original to the steel helmet. The rivets are tight and the liner is secure within the steel helmet.
