Description

WW1 Imperial German Maxim 08/15 open sight in very good used condition.The metal sight retains most of its original blued finish with signs of age and use.The open sight has the Imperial crown mark with E F under the crown for Erfurt, the front of the sight has a serial number 3550 and on the machined part of the sight it has the markings of B 4 W and a offset number 16 which I would assume is the date. The sight has its range numbers highlighted in red and the sight can be set to the required setting by the two button on the side which then locate into the slots that run along the sight grid.Please see the photographs for further detail of this rare to find item.
