WW1 Imperial German signal lamp in its wooden case in good used condition.The lamp is maker marked for A Georg Poschmann Dresden A28, the metal case still retains most of its green painted finish.The lamp has three buttons on the front for the clear, red and green lenses it has a key which has A and B marked on the metal case of the lamp.The lamp has a side door which can be opened and shows the battery pack area,it has a modern battery in place which has a broken contact point so it is possible that with a new battery it could still be in working condition.The metal lamp is housed inside a wooden case which has a metal strap for the lamp to locate into it also has three spare bulbs which are held in place by another metal strap.The wooden case has been painted black this may be original as it does show age related wear, the wooden case does have one split on the back of the case and it has a door flap which can be pulled out to show the lamp with a metal carry handle at the top.A very rare and interesting item that would be a fine item to add to any WW1 collection for display.Please see the photographs for further detail.Due to the weight of the item 2.5 kg when packed international customers will have to pay a paypal invoice to cover the shipping cost, this would be sent after purchase of the item.
