WW1 Officers note pad and hardback cover dated in used condition.The pad is dated 1917 and the hardback cover is dated 1916, the cover is the army book cover 153 with the field message book insert.The contents inside the cover show age related wear with the pages loose, the contents show detail of items of importance to the officer issued with the book such as a supplies list and a sheet with reminders to the officer with the earliest written date 10/09/1918 going onwards to 1919.The pages even have a morse coded message which has been photographed.A very nice item from the great war which rarely become available for sale, unfortunately the message book is not named to a particular officer.
