WW1 officers private purchase canvas and leather haversack in good used condition.A very nice example of this rare item to find item, the canvas has age related wear with some wear and a small period repair showing in the photographs and the leather showing age as well but still supple and mostly in place this
can be seen in the photographs.The leather has good age colour and has worn a little thin in places but nothing that you would not expect for a item of this age, the leather strap on the front and brass buckle work fine with age related colour showing the brass dog clips and shoulder strap brass fitments show age and a safety pin still in place in the canvas shoulder strap that age shows good age related colour. The haversack does have a name written on the inside in ink which could have been the original owner, this has not researched.Please see the photographs for further detail.
