Description
WW1 Paperwork group for sergeant W. D Redford Royal engineers in good condition. Sergeant Redford died on the 14th May 1916 , he is buried at the Dranoutre military cemetery Belgium.
The paperwork group consists of eleven documents from the war office and the Royal engineers records office at Chatham. They are various letters about his pay with his military will also included.
There is also a letter from a friend dated 1917 and concert program dated 1919.
Included with the paperwork is a copy of the C.W.G.C certificate for Sergeant W.D Redford service number 59510. 103rd Field Coy Royal engineers.
Some of the paperwork is very fragile and shows age related wear.
