Description
WW2 23rd Indian division printed formation patches in good condition. The formation patches have a printed cockerel in red on a khaki circle stitched to a round disc. The 23rd Indian division took part in the withdrawal from Burma and fought for two years on the Arakan front on the outskirts of the Imphal plain.
It served with the 14th army in the final campaign which drove the Japanese from Burma. A very rare set of formation patches, please see the photographs for further detail.
