Description
WW2 British military mess tin set in good used condition. The mess tins are the pattern used after the aluminium type ceased production in 1940 up until the 44 ptn jungle aluminium sets were issued in 1945.
The mess tin are dated 1941 and 1943 with both having the war department arrow. The smaller mess tin is marked M.B and the larger one having a maker mark that is not so clear.
The mess tins have painted unit marks which have been photographed.
