Description
WW2 German army M30 gasmask and cannister with all its webbing straps in place in good used condition. The cannister has its original painted finish intact which shows age related wear it is marked on the base and has the numbers 239 on the side.
The webbing straps are in place but do show age related wear and are fragile in places with the small strap having come away from the cannister.
Inside the cannister at the base it still retains its lens cleaning cloth which does has a very faint ink stamp.
The compartment for the spare lenses still contains three spare sets of lenses with the top having a date of 1937. Inside the compartment there is a stripe of paper for Panzer Grenadier Hartmann Xaver.
The M30 gasmask is dated 1940 in two places with a makers mark showing, it also has the number 239 at the front of the gas mask.
It has a FE42 filter which has good clear ink stamps for issue and services to the filter with a inspection date of April 1941 showing. The filter retains its olive green painted finish.
The M30 gasmask is in very good supple condition with its green paint finish intact and both lenses having a date of 1942 . The gas mask retains its original finish.
It has all its straps in place which are damage free.
