Description
WW2 German K98 bayonet and scabbard dated 1941 in good used condition. The bayonet and scabbard have matching numbers 9270 u with a makers mark of asw which is for E.u.F Horster showing on the scabbard and bayonet.
The bayonet and scabbard shows signs of use and have age related wear. The blade still retains some of its blued finish showing age related wear. The bayonet and scabbard have military issued marks on the pommel and the ball of the scabbard.
The pommel and cross guard show age related colour as does the scabbard. The bakerlite grips are in place with one having a crack showing this is still tight to the frame with no movement.
The scabbard has its leather frog in place which has supple leather and complete it does show signs of use and age.
