Description
WW2 German Luftschutz RL-1 gas mask & cannister in good condition. The gas mask has its filter in place which is dated April 1938.
It has all its rubber straps in place with the rubber mask still supple with no age related cracks showing. It has many ink stamps which have been photographed.
The metal cannister retains its painted finish with its rare to find webbing straps in place. The top of the cannister is D.R.G.M marked and RL-1 40/11 for November 1940. It does show very minor age related wear to the painted finish.
The cannister shows minor age related wear to the top.
