Description
WW2 German Luftwaffe flak N.C.O visor cap in very good used condition. The cap has a good high saddle shape in gabardine blue gray cloth with an aluminum Luftwaffe eagle and oak leaf cockade which are in very good used condition, the gabardine cloth shows very minor age related wear with no visible signs of any moth nips and just one small area on the back of the red piping that has the smallest moth nip making it very difficult to see but has been photographed . The chin strap with red piping running round the top of the cap and above and below the black band running round the middle of the cap, the cloth lining shows signs of use with the celluloid diamond in place with a Berlin retailers mark that has been photographed and is showing as a size 56 . The leather sweat band shows age related wear and signs of use with a unit marking on the inside for III.Abt.Flak-Rgt.5. The peak of the cap has some age related wear showing and is as the rest of the cap in very good condition a fine example of a Luftwaffe N.C.O visor cap that would be hard to find a better example of, please see the photographs for further details.
