Description
WW2 Group of photographs with one postcard showing H.M.S Rodney and a portrait photograph of an officer in good condition. The four photographs of H.M.S Rodney are ink stamped on the back not for publication as it the postcard of the crew these are all postcard size and in good condition. The portrait photograph of the officers is larger than postcard size and in a protective folder by Hazels Royal central studios Bournemouth this does have some foxing on the covers which can be seen in the photographs. The group came together so I would assume they are all contacted but I have no name of the officer shown in the photograph.
H.M.S Rodney was launched 17th December 1925 and served in the Royal navy until August 1946, H.M.S Rodney was a Nelson class battleship one of two and was involved in many actions throughout WW2 with the most noticeable one being part of the Royal nay group of ships that sunk the Bismarck in 1941. Please see the photographs for further details, free postage for UK customers.
