Description
WW2 Wilkinson made Lanchester bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The 1907 pattern bayonet has the W.S.C Wilkinson mark showing with the admiralty code S294 which can be seen in the photographs.
It has a issue date of 1943 with the war department arrow and bend test mark. The bayonet is in good used condition with the wooden grips showing good age related colour with minors signs of use.
It has a fullered blade which is in good used condition showing age related colour with the original factory finish still showing through.
The pommel and cross guard show good age related colour with some of the blueing still present.
The leather scabbard is in good used condition. Its stitching is intact with a smooth finish on the leather.
The metal ends of the scabbard are tight to the leather shaft and show age related colour with some blueing still in place.
