Description

WW2 Homefront fire guard captains steel helmet in good used condition. The steel helmet is maker marked for F & L Fisher & Ludlow Ltd of Birmingham with a very faint date of 1939, the mk 1 liner is marked Vero size 7 with a date of 1938. The steel helmet retains it original chin strap and has it original painted finish intact with age related wear and tear showing, the painted finish does have some crazing caused by age. The white painted steel helmet has three black lines running round the steel helmet showing it to be an officers rank of captain and retains all its original fittings, please see the photographs for further details.
