The badge retains some of its bronze finish with age related wear showing the badge has its original pin fitting still in place and is clearly maker marked L.C.H.R Lauer Nurnberg Berlin with the registration D.R.G.M number 35269.   WW2 German war merit cross 1st class with swords in good used condition. The medal is maker marked number L15 which is for Otto Schickle Pforzheim, the mark is clear to see on the pin.
