Description
WW2 German mid to late war SA dagger and scabbard in good used condition. The dagger is RZM marked M7/12 which is for Weyersberg Max Waffenfabrik WMW. The dagger shows age related wear to the plating on the pommel and cross guard which are a good fit to the wooden handle. The fruit wood handle is free from any stress fractures with the eagle and SA roundel in good condition with the eagle showing great detail.
The blade of the dagger is 22cm long with cross grain showing on both sides. The acid etching is crisp on the blade with the usual scabbard scars showing on both sides.
The scabbard retains its painted finish with some wear showing in places. The plated finish to the fittings top and bottom is in good condition with some age related wear. The ball on the lower fitting is un-damaged and the screws are in good condition with some signs of use.
