WW2 R.A.F V.R pilots service dress tunic in good condition named and dated 1942.The tunic has a makers label and is named to Hubert Stuart Ray 104522 who was killed 31st December 1943 and was buried in Sunderland Mere Knolls cemetery all the details can be seen on the C.W.G.C website.The condition of the tunic is good and shows some age related wear with some moth nips which have been photographed,all the fitments of the tunic are consistent with each other showing age.The lining is still intact and its does have two inside pockets with condition good the lining has been photographed.The tunic has all its insignia intact and consistent to the tunic with wear and tear,the tunic has a pocket watch type pocket with the four normal pockets found on this type of tunic and the two bottom pockets do show signs of some mothing again this has been photographed.Flight Lieutenant Hubert Stuart Ray has entries in the London Gazette for promotions through 1942 these and a copy of the C.W.G.C. certificate will be included with the tunic.Please see the photographs for further detail.
