WW1 British army wooden cased brass stencil set in good used condition.The set is maker marked for W H Harling London 1917 with the war department arrow on the top of the wooden case. The wooden case has mortice joints on all four corners with good age toning to the wood, the latch at the front works fine and secures the lid tight and has good tight hinges. The contents of the case are forty four brass stencil plates with various letters and wording in different sizes all the brass plates are numbered.Most of the brass plates have been used this can be clearly seen in the photographs, a very rare item and this being only the second example I have seen up until a few weeks ago I had only ever seen the one set which has already been sold so a rare opportunity with this second set.Please see the photographs for further detail.
