WW1 Imperial German 1898/05 bayonet 2nd pattern with its original metal scabbard and in good used condition.The bayonet is in good used condition with signs of use and showing age related wear and tear, it has a issue mark for 1915 with the imperial crown along with the a makers mark Simson & Co Suhl which is faint but can still be seen,the markings on the bayonet can be seen in the photographs with the pommel having signs of age and above the issue marks a flat spot again this have been photographed.The metal scabbard is the original scabbard and shows age to the scabbard with traces of the blued finish showing at the top with a good age colour to the remainder of the scabbard,the bayonet and scabbard are 2nd pattern examples.The wooden grips are complete with signs of use and still retaining the original screws and washers, a nice and original ww1 German bayonet and scabbard that would look good in any collection of this type.Please see the photographs for further detail this item is only available to UK mainland customers over the age of eighteen so please make sure you enter your date of birth on your registration.
