WW1 Officers Sam brown belt and shoulder strap dated 1914 and personnel items in good used condition.The Sam brown belt is maker marked for M Harvey & Co Ltd Walsall with the date 1914 just below, the belt and strap are complete with all the brass fitments in place and showing good aged colour to the leather finish which is a nice light brown.The belt has had a small adjustment made by the owner where a small part of the belt has been cut away so the holster or ammunition pouch can be placed in the area and holds it in place,a small and useful adjustment which is not un-common to find on officers private purchase items.The Sam brown belt and shoulder strap are stored in a round collar box which is maker marked for Finnigans Ltd new bond street London, the box has good age colour and is complete with age related wear.Inside the collar box is also two small brushes which are in used condition and show age, the box also contains a British made Valet auto strop safety razor which is in its original case with spare razors. The patent number on the safety razor is 470443 which dates the razor to 1905/06 and is in used condition showing age related wear.
